Donation Pomfret

General Turner from the South African Infantry Association has donated another amount of R1000.00 for pomfret. I took the liberty of phoning him to say thank you on behalf of all of us.

I am going to stomp on a certain:clive: next time I see him. Why:):):):)

It is becomming a habit of other members throwing me in the KAK at the last minute. Last weekend our Shellhole hosted the Southern Natal District M.O.T.H. Quarterly Meeting. A certain :clive: sits at the top table and as you know he is still raffling off a Sheep to raise funds for Pomfret.

Where do I come into it? During the discussion he mentioned that although it was not exactly a Moth cause he was doing this raffle and then out of the blue he asked me to give a bit of background on the Pomret cause. Thanks to the updates by our "Guardian Angel" and Nic and others I was able to do this. The net result was that all the Old Bills at the meeting took at least one raffle sheet to sell at their own Shellhole with one even handing the money over in advance.

Good for you guys. Come hell or high water we will help the people at Pomfret. I purchased an extra signed copy of Colonel Bryetenbachs latest book "Eagle Strike" at the suggestion of Stan which will be available for auction. The proceeds of which will go to Pomfret.

Got to keep you PLEBS in check every now and again. Will e-mail the sheet to you week-end. Ask your Sgt Major for the list of Shellholes who took sheets from him. Forgot to get it. Last sheet was "M" so thats 13 sheets at R 200.00 per sheet. Am selling more down here in Sheppie. So hope to raise R 5000.00.
